Description
Hunters bear a great responsibility to place the meat of harvested game on the market as a sound food. Field dressing the animal while it hangs head down is the best way to protect the valuable cuts of game meat from contamination. If you want to field dress your animal in the field, this is usually done lying on the ground. Following the rules of game-meat hygiene is not always easy. Especially with paunch shots or larger animals.
After the great success of our „Artemis“ game gambrel, numerous customers came to us asking for a smaller, handier and more affordable version. Here is the result!
Heck-Pack presents the three-part „Diana“ game gambrel.
The longest part of the gambrel measures 110cm and so fits most boots or the rear seat. It is so compact that it even fits in our larger , 1200mm hitch carrier.
Stability of the construction:
The design is built from ST37 Thyssen-Krupp steel and, for corrosion protection, is fully hot-dip galvanized to the highest grade. The wall thicknesses of the relevant components are dimensioned twice as thick as competitor products, so as to meet the high demands of hunting. Because the game gambrel is made in three parts, we were able to reduce the weight of the individual components considerably. Assembly is simple. During development the game gambrel was tested by several experienced hunters and proved what it can do. The „Diana“ game gambrel is designed for animals up to 120kg and has already handled higher loads in tests. The gear ratio of the strap winch is identical to that of its big sister „Artemis“, which makes dressing animals straightforward.
The assembly is inserted into the guide adapter, which is fixed to the hitch carrier, and transfers the load to the ground. The guide adapter is mounted between the hitch carrier and the one-hand lever fastener, and can also be retrofitted to an existing hitch carrier. It is also possible to use both the „Diana“ game gambrel and its sister „Artemis“ without a hitch carrier. Either with a quick release on the towball, or with a bracket set in concrete in the ground. For example at home or at the field-dressing site.
Use:
Using plug-in connections, the „Diana“ game gambrel can be set up in the field without tools in under a minute, and taken down just as quickly.
