Accessories for the hitch carrier

Lighting, a number-plate holder and a lowering mechanism are fitted to the HECK-PACK hitch carrier later. Fitting videos are under Service.

Common questions

Is the number-plate holder included in the lighting?

No. The 7-pin or 13-pin lighting includes the lamps, including number-plate lamps, wiring, fixing and the aluminium guard. The number-plate holder is a separate accessory. Only the 13-pin lighting has a reversing light.

What does the lowering mechanism change about the payload?

With a lowering or tip-up mechanism the ECE net payload is 71 kg instead of 89 kg. The towball nose weight still has to be observed as well.

May the side winch stay fitted in road traffic?

No. The clip-on side winch is removed again after the recovery and once the load is secured.
